Tea Tidbits:
Iced tea is an American accidental discovery when no one was drinking hot tea in the summer at the
1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The same fair also gave rise to the ice cream cone and hot dogs on a bun.
The first tea shop in England opened in 1884 by an innovative manager of the Aerated Bread Company in London as a way to increase walk-in business.
Did you know the Boston Tea Party was not the only colonial tea revolt? Tea party protests took place also in Greenwich, Charleston, Philadelphia, New York, and Annapolis.
