Tea Tidbits:

Iced Tea was popularized in America at the 1904 St Louis World's Fair.  That same fair also gave rise to hot dogs on a bun and ice cream on a cone!

The first tea shop in England opened in 1884 by an innovative manager of the Aerated Bread Company in London as a way to increase walk-in business.

Did you know the Boston Tea Party was not the only colonial tea revolt? Tea party protests took place also in Greenwich, Charleston, Philadelphia, New York, and Annapolis.

The first-ever auction held on U.S. soil was on March 29, 2006 at the World Tea Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

When people are asked whether they prefer red or white it doesn't mean just wine anymore - it could mean tea as well.
